Together with her team, she pushes the limits of these techniques to gain deeper insight into interactions between light, electrons, and matter at the nanometric scale. Her research spans a wide range of fields, including nanomaterials physics and nano-optics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She will contribute to strengthening the core expertise of the Academy of Sciences within its Physics Section, thereby ensuring a high level of disciplinary excellence in support of its missions of expertise and scientific advice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are delighted to announce the election of Odile St\u00e9phan, a member of the STEM group which she led from 2009 to 2021, to the Acad\u00e9mie des sciences.
